Workout Buddies
A small group keeping each other moving.
Three to twelve people who want to move more, with no app trying to gamify their nervous system. The custodian posts a morning prompt, acknowledges every check-in briefly, and quietly nudges anyone who's gone two days without posting. Rest days count.
Who it's for
- ·A handful of friends who keep meaning to "go to the gym together"
- ·A run club whose group chat went silent in February
- ·Coworkers who want a low-key fitness ritual without HR involved
Example prompts
- Morning team — what is today's movement? Even a walk counts.
- Mid-week check: what did your body do yesterday?
- Friday — pick one thing you're proud of this week, movement or not.
A day in the group
Member check-in
20 min on the bike before work. Legs felt like concrete but I did it.
Asios
Concrete legs and you went anyway. That's the streak. 🚴
Questions
- Do you track steps or sync with my watch?
- No. The whole point is the post, not the data. Asios Standup is for the social ritual; let your watch handle the metrics.
- What if someone misses a few days?
- After two missed check-ins, Asios sends them a quiet, private nudge. Never a public callout. Never to the host's inbox.
